About Us

Gabrielle Rosson

Writer, Director, Producer, Production Designer

Gabrielle is a writer, director, and producer who splits her time between Seattle, Boston and Los Angeles. After beginning her career in journalism, she transitioned into film and television, and quickly established herself as a dynamic force in the indie scene.

Driven by a belief in the therapeutic power of storytelling, Rosson creates work that is both emotionally resonant and unapologetically original. Her latest co-creation, Trash Queen, exemplifies her distinctive voice—blending genre, grit, and dark humor into a film poised for cult classic status and future franchise potential.

As founder of the Lois Weber Film Festival, and co-founder of Joan of Art, she continues to champion emerging artists and create spaces for connection and creativity.

Emily Tullock

Writer, Director, Producer, Actor

Emily is a filmmaker, writer, and performer based in Los Angeles. Over the past several years, she has written, directed, and produced a range of independent short films and comedy sketches, developing a distinct voice that blends horror, absurdity, and sharp comedic instincts.

Her work often leans into the strange and unexpected—grounded in character, but unafraid to get weird, bloody, or surreal. With a background in improv and extensive on-set experience, Emily brings a highly collaborative, flexible approach to filmmaking, thriving in environments where creativity and spontaneity can shape the final product.

As a co-founder of Joan of Art, Emily is deeply passionate about championing female-driven stories and creating space for bold, unconventional voices. She is especially drawn to projects that push genre boundaries and explore offbeat perspectives, with the goal of helping original ideas make the leap from script to screen in ways that feel both entertaining and unapologetically distinct.
